District leaders need reliable information about what’s happening across their schools. Are student accommodations being documented? How are coaching and professional development efforts progressing? Which programs are delivering results? And where could inaccurate or disconnected data be slowing teams down?
At Level Data, we’re continuing to build tools that help districts answer those questions with less manual work and better visibility.
Our latest product updates bring new capabilities to Brolly, Grow, Return on Instruction (ROI), Validation, and Integrations. Here’s what’s new, how these enhancements support district teams, and what’s coming next.
Brolly Expands Support for Special Education and Section 504 Programs
Special education teams manage a lot of moving pieces, from documenting IEP services to monitoring student progress and keeping up with state requirements. Recent Brolly enhancements give teams additional ways to manage that work.
One of the biggest additions is Brolly 504, which helps districts see what’s happening after a Section 504 plan is established.
Teachers and support staff can document accommodation delivery in one place, maintain timestamped records, and identify missing documentation. District leaders can also connect accommodation implementation with student progress, giving them a clearer picture of the support students are receiving.
Two additional Brolly features expand that visibility.
- Brolly TierScore (Texas only) helps special education teams complete HB 2 Tier of Intensity funding assessments in less time and export results in a TEA-ready format.
- AI Insights brings assessment scores, trend data, and teacher notes together to highlight patterns and help teams better understand student progress.
Together, these additions help special education leaders manage documentation, reporting, and student support with information that’s easier to access and act on.
Grow Brings Educator Development and Evaluation Data Together
Districts invest significant time and resources in professional development, coaching, observations, and educator evaluations. But understanding how those efforts connect to student results can be difficult when the information lives in separate systems.
New Grow capabilities help district leaders bring more of that work together. The Educator Supports Module connects professional development and coaching information with student outcomes, giving administrators greater visibility into the support educators receive alongside student results.
The Educator Evaluation Calculator puts existing observation and coaching data to work in the summative evaluation process. Teams can use information already captured in Grow to support educator ratings and reduce repetitive administrative work.
For Texas districts, Instructional Insights brings coaching, walkthrough, observation, and professional development data together to support TEA’s Instructional Insights Analytics initiative.
These enhancements give district leaders a more connected view of educator development and help teams make better use of the information they’re already collecting.
ROI Adds New Ways to Track District Priorities, Programs, and Results
District strategic plans, improvement initiatives, and instructional investments all require ongoing attention. Leaders need to know how work is progressing, who owns the next steps, and what the available evidence says about results.
Recent enhancements to Return on Instruction (ROI) make that information easier to organize, share, and review.
Strategy Tracking gives district leaders one place to monitor strategic objectives and action items, with clear ownership assigned to each. The new School Improvement Plans capability supports ESSA-aligned improvement planning alongside broader district strategy, helping teams keep related work connected.
Several additional features improve access to district-level information.
- AI Insights brings assessment results, accountability scores, and progress toward state-mandated goals into a more digestible view.
- Push Insights delivers important updates by email, with links back into ROI for additional context.
- Executive Summaries provide leadership with a consolidated view of district-level utilization and impact information.
- Student Scorecards bring program usage and student growth together at the individual student and subgroup levels.
For superintendents, cabinet teams, and program leaders, these updates support more informed conversations about strategic progress, resource allocation, and program performance.
Validation and Integrations Give Districts More Visibility Into Their Data
District technology teams manage information moving between multiple systems every day. When connections are difficult to monitor, or data errors go unnoticed, even routine reporting can require hours of additional work. Level Data has introduced several enhancements to help teams manage these challenges.
The new Integration Connector Portal gives technology teams a centralized view of district connections and data pipelines. Teams can more easily see what’s connected and identify areas that may need attention.
Level Data Validation is also expanding its reach.
Non-SIS Validation extends data-quality support beyond student information systems to additional district data, including Special Education, Transportation, and Nutrition.
Validation for Synergy brings Level Data Validation into the Synergy SIS environment. Districts transitioning to Synergy can continue using Validation, while districts already using Synergy can incorporate it into their existing workflows.
These improvements help technology and data teams identify potential issues earlier, reduce manual reviews, and maintain more reliable information for district operations and reporting.
Coming Soon: More Support for Special Programs
We’re also expanding Brolly to address additional responsibilities that Special Programs teams manage throughout the school year.
Upcoming capabilities include:
- Brolly Behavior, connecting Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) documentation, Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) authoring, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Brolly ELL, supporting English Language Learner compliance tracking from identification through the two-year post-exit monitoring period.
- MTSS, bringing student identification, tiered intervention documentation, and progress monitoring into a more connected workflow.
These upcoming additions will give districts more ways to manage student supports while reducing their reliance on separate spreadsheets and documentation processes.
